Since she was young, Melissa Heye has always felt for children and the emotions they experience through childhood. Her compassion has led her to a professionally and personally fulfilling career in Behavioral Therapy and eventually, in military family life counseling (MFLC), allowing her to combine her love for working with children and her passion for traveling to help families. She is now living in Lanikai, Hawai’i, where she helps families and children navigate the unique challenges of military life. The warmth of Hawaiian culture and the Aloha spirit of the islands provides the perfect backdrop for interacting and building rapport with children.
